Hi im sure to website save me looking through pages and pages of forums i just thought i would ask the question myself...
I have a 02 wrx, 2.0L
3" exhausted
BOV
Everything else is stock...
What power figures should i expect with theses mods...
Vf39 turbo
STI pink injectors
Walbro 255 fuel pump
SRI air intake
STI top mount
TUNE...
Thats covering the main things.
So from 175ish awhp to ........?
Whats everyone out there think?
what kind of exhuast do you have? is your stock uppipe replaced as well?
yes for your current setup. (if its a 3" turboback exhaust) youll want a catless uppipe and a tune as soon as you can. there a few engine management routes such as an Accessport, protune/dynotune, etc.
Were the only things the previous owner told you about the car were 3" exhaust and bov?
Do you have the stock exhaust, stock bpv/bov?
Yeah the guys that will be doing all the work know im willing to do catless uppipe if it hasn't already got one, yeah after all the mods are done (turbo, injectors etc etc) then it will be going over to a turbo tuning specialist.
Nah i just brought car as if about 12mouths ago, and person before had very little info on what parts were used
ahh well if u want help from the forum post some pictures of your engine bay, where the turbo meets the exhaust, the exhaust under the car and a hard angle but at the bottom of the turbo where it meets the uppipe and we can try to look for what mods it has already done to it.
if your running a full turboback you shouldve had a tune a year ago, along with a catless uppipe. look for the stock bov as well because the only thing yours is doing now is being a noise maker.
I was more just after rough power figures for the mods listed, as the people doing the work are more then happy to do uppipes etc.
I have standard BOV, but i have been advised that the one im running is better and i should keep it on
alright. when are you going to get the mods done?
just trying to help you have a better running car now than waiting for the parts to be installed and tune.
not sure on the numbers. less than 300whp maybe arounf 250whp. ill let another member take a guess.
What dyno?

not sure. but its a sti turbo and injectors. depends on if your going for a conservative tune, what dyno, elevation, temperature. theres not going to be one straight number, as u know
i'm not at all familiar with 02 WRX's, so I have no idea what kind of power he would make... I just thought with the bigger turbo that he would be able to get to 300... BUT with a baseline of 175 that is asking a lot. I guess they power was lower on those than I realized.

Remember - it's a 2.0L... I'm sure that the 2.5 can make more when pushed sufficiently. But there's also likely less weight to accelerate, so it'll go just as well, if not better...
You can't have everything - where would you put it?
