Just a tune. I would maybe go with a fuel pump too.
This is a discussion on 06 WRX to make STi power within the Engine Modifications forums, part of the Tech & Modifying & General Repairs category; I have a 2006 WRX with a full TBE, STi TMIC, and a VF-39; what additional parts would I need ...
I have a 2006 WRX with a full TBE, STi TMIC, and a VF-39; what additional parts would I need to make the power of a stock STi, or maybe a little over.

What about injectors? I have read that mine will be fine.
If you have an 06 or 07 wrx the injectors are larger than the Sti and your fuel pump is fine just get a Cobb and flash the Vf39 map make sure you have an Sti innercooler and your good
I have the same set up been running it for 3 years
Been running a VF39 setup for over 5 years..... you need:
An accessport w/ the VF39 map loaded (or a custom tune)
K&N drop-in filter or SPT intake (as per Cobb Tuning)
STI Intercooler (or equivilent)
Necessary Y-pipe (06 WRX Y-pipe will not fit)
Full TBE (not just a downpipe and stock catback)
Note.... In order to actually utilize that larger intercooler, you should replace the hoodscoop splitter and bellows (About $100 brand new) with factory STI parts
Injectors are not needed. 06 "blue" injectors actually flow slightly better than STI injectors of previous years.
Fuel pump is not "mandatory" either... but a Walbro 255 is always a nice preventative measure.
The Cobb OTS map, with those exact mods, places the car at 290whp, or 362 engine hp on 93 Octane, whichever you prefer..... 0-60 just under 5, and 1/4 mile times in the high 12s if driven properly.

Did you have to modify your boost pill?
Yes you have to drill it out with a #57 drill bit I believe
All the info you need is on cobbs web site
Could I just buy one? I have read that people have hard time finding that size drill bit. If so where?
That size bit is readily available at any number of places including amazon.com. You'll probably have to buy a 12 pack but on amazon that'll cost you a whole buck. You should also be able to find them at a ton of other places like auto parts stores, Home Depot, etc.
