My turbo is dead

Hi everyone

Like the tittle says my turbo is dead on my Subaru WRX 2002.

I'm looking to get a new turbo, but I don't really want to go with something that wont be bolt on.

My WRX used to be a stage 2 with 265 HP with the original turbo working.

Anyone has any suggestion about what I should get and would be bolt-on on the parts I already have ?

what makes you say its dead? whats your budget? what gains are you looking for? do you want bottom end with no top end power or vice verser, there are many of turbo's that are straight bolt on, you have to change your injectors and fuel pump if you put a bigger turbo on aswell

Yeah sorry I did forget to put some info there.

The turbo is making some king of metal noise just like if metal was shaffing.

I think the shaft is loose or something like that.

When the turbo begins to get hot, it stops to boost.... I can hear a leak.

It has 160 000 km.

So I'm guessing it either needs a rebuild or it needs to be changed.

So I am looking for something that is like the original one, maybe a bit better but I don't want to have to change the injectors and the other things I would need to change if I get a bigger one. I do not have a lot of money to put on it for the moment.

Stock turbo is the only thing that will be bolt-on (in that you won't require other modifications).

hmm i have a 02 my stock turbo laster 175 000 k's then i upgraded just for more power

You said you weren't interested in replacing injectors. That limits you to the stock turbo.
