There are three downsides to running a catless downpipe on the Cobb map:
    1) Boost creep
    2) Boost spike / overboost / DTCs
    3) You show you are incapable of following simple instructions

The map notes clearly outline the requirements for running the particular map. I fail to see the dilemma here, it's not rocket science. If you don't like the requirements, run a different map.

From what I was reading boost creep happens no matter the map using catless downpipes. I wasn't aware of that before I bought the AP. Now that I am, I want to see what would happen if it were to do so. You mentioned using a different map. A different map from where? A protune?

Boost creep is a mechanical problem that can't be tuned out. A catted downpipe can help alleviate the issue, as well as help prevent regular overboost situations.

A custom tune can help resolve issues you may experience with a catless downpipe, unless it's boost creep. That is something you'd need to fix mechanically (e.g., wastegate porting, EWG, etc.).
