So the transmission (as long as its not launched hard, or shifted hard) should be a-okay. (I have mucho experience in wrx trannys, blew my first one up drag racing :P <-- live and learn.)

    You'll want to spend the extra $150 on the XT. At the very least, the billet wheel will get you similar power while running lower boost and lower compressor outlet temps. At best, it will yield about 10-15% more power over the 16G.
