Pix of IPR TMIC in 2011 wrx.
Installation took about 3 hr. used the Tomioka Racing Throttle Body Hose,
T-Bolt Hose Clamps and some longer bolts for the turbo. The IC fits very tight but for $435 i think its worth it.

The fin density of that I/C looks awful in those pictures.

Ok, here is the deal!!
After long hours of tuning there wasn't a lot of gains
So If you get aftermarket TMIC you must modify your air scoop.

Looks good...but as they said...the fin density is rather meh...so you won't have much improved area to dissipate heat. That and it's pretty obvious that you need to modify the splitter/scoop to adequately flow air through a different sized/shaped intercooler in order for it to work as intended.Ok, here is the deal!!

Now I'm running custom stage 3 map @ 20psi with 10.8 AFR
but the car feels stronger then a protune map 311WHP 352 TORQUE @19 PSI 93 with stock TMIC

The new TMIC is 11x10.8x4 inches Its about 200% over stock, the gains are around 1.5 degree of timing (still tuning). The stock would be just fine but it blew up @ 19 psi

Well at least this will provide you a good piece of mind if you decide to go further with turbo swapping.
Question though...what makes it Stage 3? Still looks like Stage 2 to me...

Also, are you able to shut your hood okay with that BPV on there? I have the PW TMIC, and I had to get a more low-profile BPV.

Finally I got some numbers
timing with stock IC stage 2 protuned and customized TP stage 3 map with irp IC (WOT)
Here is virtual dyno of two runs, stage 2 protuned and customized TP stage 3 map
Stage 2 dyno was 311whp and 352 wtq, the virtual dyno showed like 298hp so i bumped the weight to match the 311hp

I thought the access port had something like that? If not it's probably just a program that computes the hp/tq through a pull on the street.
