What is the best catless uppipe for a 2002 WRX?

I'm looking to start modding my '02 WRX and want some feedback on catless up-pipes. I've read through the "first modifications" thread and many others and understand this is the most important first mod. What up-pipe do you all recommend without an EGT bung? I've heard good things about GrimmSpeed's unit, shown here:GrimmSpeed, but I want to know what others think.

Currently the only "mods" on the car are a drop in K&N filter and Excedy stage 1 clutch and ACT Streetlite flywheel .

    Thanks for the assistance!

Well I broke down and ordered a GrimmSpeed ceramic coated uppipe with new GrimmSpeed gaskets (exhaust port to manifold, manifold to uppipe, uppipe to turbo and turbo to downpipe). Rallysportdirect.com sells the ceramic coated bungless unit for $175.99 and the same one on GrimmSpeed's website is $179.99 + $24.99 for ceramic coating. The gaskets were the exact same price at both sites, so I ordered from Rallysportdirect.com. Total came to $238.95 with free shipping on orders over $200.

I'll write a quick follow up after I install it and give my first impressions. Thanks for the input everyone.

I've been through 2...Perrin and Ultimate Racing so I could have the EWG extension off of it. I would recommend both. If you're interested in getting a Perrin unit, let me know. I can get it for you under retail.

i'v had two different types one invidia and one that i got off craigslist, not sure of the brand but has a flex pipe in it, i found while modding that the flex pipe is best way to go, you will experience more wear when modding and the flex pipe will allow well... more flexability other than DP another good investment is motor tranny mounts i have 03 and when i got the car w/ 70k they were almost toast and crated alot of movement in the engine bay

I bought the GrimmSpeed unit which comes with the flex section. Thanks for the input. I'll take a look at the motor and tranny mounts when I'm under there hopefully Tuesday night if it shows up!

Will do thanks for the response. When did you open your online store? You've got some good products there.

I opened it up Monday actually so its very new and there are a lot of products I haven't put up yet. If you have any questions about anything that I have on there or may have, just let me know. Also, I'm all ears if you're looking for more advice on what do with your ride.

Factor in the downpipe, boost controller (EBCS, MBC, or both), and custom tune, and you're looking at another $1000 or so.

An extremely fun setup, none the less...
