STi Hoodscoop Splitter onto 2003 WRX

Are the bolt patterns the same for an STi splitter to put onto my wagon the lower and upper duct. Also would it be necessary to get a bigger scoop to go along with it?

I looked into this on my 03, and the STI splitter will bolt right up, but you do need a JDM STI hood scoop (the USDM STI hood scoop won't fit bugeyes). You can get the scoop from flatironstuning.com for about $180, if I remember correctly. They also have the splitter for $115

What exactly is an "STi Hoodscoop Slitter"? I have an '02 wagon and the paint on my scoop is pealing pretty bad in a couple spots. Thinking about taking it off and re-painting.

i took a look at the spliter and i guess it just manipulates the air to particular parts of the intercooler.

same thing is going on with the scoop on my wagon. im torn between just getting it repainted or getting a STI scoop. i found a website that sells WR blue in a spray can. grimm speed sells it.

^ USDM scoop won't fit. You'd have to find a replica or jdm sti scoop

Edit: Rambo mentioned that above. Didn't mean to sound like a parrot lol

Hey thanks for that link! I'll have to pick some up. There are two spots on my scoop just peeling away. One is almost the size of quarter. I guess that's cuz my car is so fast...
