    intercooler upgrade, help?

I have a 2001 wrx and have just upgraded my top-mount to a large one. Now there is a popping sound when I start my car...believe it is running lean atm. Any thoughts to my problem?

Check for leaks, that's the most likely cause. However, you should really acquire some means of making SURE you're not running lean, rather than guessing.

can you be a little more specific about the noise? popping from where? is it as your cranking the starter ,or a few seconds after it starts?can you have some one else start the car for you while you listen to the engine with the hood open? maybe you have a bracket miss aligned?
