For about 3 weeks now when i turn my heat or a/c on a loud squeek aquires...It's the a/c compressor spinning and I don't know if that means it's bad and i need to replace it or what?

When I recharged the AC on my old WRX oil got into the compressor and I guess into the clutch and it did the same thing. Every time it would kick over it would squeal like hell. I think it eventually got a little better, but I didn't have the car for more than six months after that.

I think it is a sign that it's getting ready to go, but then again it might hold out for another year or two. You don't really need to replace it, other than the annoying squealing, and if it stops blowing cold air. If the sound is too much for you, then replace it, otherwise I would just wait until it actually stops working.

If it's over charged it will squeal like hell. Check the pressure.
