Is that reading off the AP, or off a gauge in your car?
(just trying to eliminate a bad gauge)

I am running Cobb V1 Stage 2 93 Oct - Recently I noticed my boost is gone - 1st & 2nd gear I get nothing over 5 psi - 3rd gear 9 psi - 4th & 5th back to 5 psi - I am not sure how to describe it but 4th & 5th the car seems to "dragging" - like it wants to go but doesn't - and I don't know if this has anything to do w/ it but the car @ idle is lower - only maybe 100/200 (nothing major) but just weird - I am hoping its something simple & something someone can point me in the right direction & I can fix it myself - but before I panic & take it somewhere - I thought I'd post up & see if anyone has any ideas
Thanks

Defi showed 1st but yes than I used the Cobb AP & had my girl watch both while I was driving - both are reading the same (give or take but both are close)
still stock turbo - '06 WRX just turned 37,000 miles
I'm having the same problem. My car seems to be pulling hard so for me it might be a gauge issue but I'm still curious to what your problem might be? Possibly a crack in the turbo or a leak somewhere in the exhaust? Mighty Mods makes a great video on youtube for checking for leaks for less than 10$ from parts you can find at your local hardware store.
My car got a bit louder and could hardly boost. If I stayed on it hard in 3rd it slowly built up boost. (Hmmm... wonder if that is good or not?!?) Anyway, it was painful to get moving.
Here the wastegate arm popped off of the turbo. Bought some "E" clips at the local auto store and put it back on. Runs fine.

maybe your stock BCS? I know when i was having a similar problem thats what it was for me. Do you know someone with a wrx or sti that would let you borrow theirs to try it out?

that happened to my brothers 06 sti, don't know what caused it but I loaded the stock map and then reloaded the stage two map it had and it was back up to normal stage two boost around 16- 17 psi. try it!
ok - so I put the car back to the stock map. I am still seeing the same issues just not as bad. 4th gear doesn't "drag" as much but still have in 5th gear. still not getting over 5 pounds of boost
any body have any other ideas??
