Im interested to see how well this new turbo can be tuned. Like how well it can hold a higher boost till redline. Probably akin to a similarly sized IHI I suppose.

    Thanks for the post OP!

COBB stage 1 im hearing is around 256hp and stage 2 around 292hp.

After this pull I was very happy I bought this over an Evo X. Not to mention the 10k+ savings.

The VF52 is essentially a VF39/43 in LGT/+08 WRX fitment.

Below is a link to my VF52'd LGT at 19psi peak, holding 15psi or so at redline, weather has been sh1tty here so my tuning has been put on hold until the roads clear which should be another day or 2 at most:

    testes1010's 2005 LGT thread

I generally tune 04-07 STi's to ~21psi peak holding ~17psi at redline on our good 93 octane we have here. So my LGT should have another 2psi in it or so on stock injectors pushing it right up over the 320whp mark. With +650cc injectors and a larger fuel pump the turbo could hold 22-24psi peak(super aggressive) making torque skyrocket up to the 360wtq neighborhood.

i just flashed my 09 wrx to stage 1 and go for spin. you will notice the car pulled harder then stock. especially from 4k all the way to redline

I heard the stock BOV and IC on the '08/'09's has issues after 15psi (might be 20?). I think it might have been the Perrin '08 that had the BOV pop off during their toying.

I had no problems with my '08 when I was running the stock TMIC and BPV while pushing 16-16.5 psi.

On the other forums I hear they are pushing 20 psi on stock gear. I plan on upgrading the BOV anyway to the perrin recirculated BOV at stage 2. The only thing I can see the would be bad on the IC is heat soak.
