2008 WRX build on a budget. I request feed back.

So I was getting a little disgruntled when I realized my WRX was basically an 05 Legacy GT on steroids. Then I realized it gave me the freedom to try different things.

So on this parts list is nothing revolutionary, but I believe it to be a good budget daily driver/street dominator build. Comment with constructive suggestions and or feed back.

SUSPENSION:
Perrin Rear 22mm sway bar $174.99
Perrin front 25mm sway bar $159.99
Perrin end link $139.99
Total : $500.00
(rounded)
Power:

Agency power sedan cat back $765
Agency Power sedan Down pipe: $300.00
Cobb access port $695.00
AVO TMIC $695.00
Agency Power short shifter $90.00
Total, $1890.00 (rounded)

Allow an extra 400-500 for a pro tune

I made the same kind of list for my 08. Mine differs slightly in brands, but if you have researched all these products and feel they are definately what you want, then how can you go wrong? Research, and make yourself happy. It's your car, looks like a fun Stage II setup to me.

yeah, my list is pretty much the same except i would like to do a full coilover system as well......I have the Borla cat back right now and i highly recommend it.....my tuner said stage 2 with the right parts you could be sitting around 245AWHP and about 300ft/lbs tourqe......

Why pay an extra $400-$500 for a protune + $700 for a Cobb AP?

Just get a custom open source tune + dyno time = $500

Since you don't plan on running a Cobb OTS (off the shelf map) you should not bother with it. I know some people will argue that you can save your custom maps on your AP..blah blah.

Just ask your tuner to save you a copy of your map on a flash drive. IMHO (as a former AP owner/user) the AP is a waste of $ if you plan on going past stage 2.

Also I would not get the Agency Power Short Shifter, as the Kartboy SS is a much more proven setup...get that along with the Kartboy shifter bushings in this package:

TiC newest gen super shifter set Turn In Concepts

Lastly, I don't like the AVO TMIC it is too small.

Stock TMIC: 11 x 9.25 x 2.5 = 254.375
Avo TMIC: 10.4 x 10.3 x 3.5 = 374.92
Perrin TMIC: 11 x 10.8 x 4 = 475.20

Get the perrin its much bigger and will support more HP/CFC and its $667 from JSCSpeed:
Perrin 2008 Subaru WRX Perrin Perrin Standard and Stealth Series Top Mount Intercooler (TMIC), JSC Speed Intercooler

However, for a Stage 2 setup a new/larger TMIC is not really necessary. While it will help your numbers you don't really need a larger TMIC until you upgrade the turbo.

+1 to everything stated. deff go for a good opensource/custom tune. ap is nice to have but as said before its not really worth the money IMO.
