yeah, I know I am digging up old threads....

I can't find a place that sells only the 90 deg turbo elbow - certainly not for $30. Where did you find that?

I bought the stylin motors elbow - then cut it short. I re-ordered and hopefully will cut it right this time. Does anyone have the exact cut dimensions? It is hard to "dry fit" since everything is under the IC.

I have a 2006 STI TMIC and am putting it on a 2007 WRX.

    Thanks
    Michael

So I measured the elbow from the bend and was ~2.5" on either end.

Just to clarify, I measured from the short side of the bend.

Would a 08 STI top mount fit on my 06 WRX. And if so is there anything I would need to change or mod to make work?

It would not fit. Different design. You need one from 04 to 07, or aftermarket...
