    Not going to happen, at least on a normal reading dyno(not high, not low).

    1) 16G, 18G, 20G, run more efficiently at over 20-21psi, I wouldn't bother upgrade to a 'G' turbo & run it under 20psi.

    2) you're going to need bigger injectors absolute minimum of 650cc/min and better intercooler.

    Also factory-calibrated Mustang dynos typically read lower than most others, the dyno operator has jacked with the settings if it reads high. There's a semi-local Mustang dyno here that reads high because most of their customers are Porsche owners 'expecting' to get what they paid for.

    For custom tuned STG2 to come out @ '216whp and 225.9 wtq' you were on a standard low reading Mustang dyno.

    Well said. That's what I was getting at when I asked if it was a Mustang dyno. I got 234awhp/244awtq from Cobb OTS Stage 2+uppipe. That was on a DynoJet dyno. I would expect to get about 250awhp/260awtq if I were to get a ProTune on a DynoJet.

    These #'s look kind of low, do you just have a TBE? are you running 16.8psi?

    I have a personal friend that didnt like his tune... I dont know him personally.. but I know people on Nastysock dont care for him to much.

    I had a utec for awhile. But now have AEM. The Utec is good EM but what are you're goals with your car?? It really depends on what you wanna do and go with your car.

    whoops, got the mustang dyno mixed up with the dynojet dyno. My bad. Tuning isn't magic but people act like it is for some reason.

    You had this done at KitoAutoSport, right? what is your overall impression of the quality of tune you had? I'm in the market for a protune, so im sending out 'feelers' to see where i want to go. im not really a fan of opensource tuning, only because id like to incorporate my $700 AP, makes me feel like its being used, and not wasted. theres another thread that went this general direction, earlier.

    ok, to reiterate, to get back on track:

    how would you rate your tuning experience with dominic?

    Yeah the Mustang reads lower than normal dynos cause it tests high road resistance. Like if you were actually driving the car on the road, most others dont do this. You'll actually read quite lower also. I think the factory hp for the STIs are 290 (sticker (not shure on this one) They read 212 on Mustang AWD dynos.

    Also, I dont know why he would say get rid of the utec. Its good on alot of levels, mostly better when you have mods but still a very good EMC. Also, if you want to upgrade to pinks, def keep the utec. Youll run rich as crap without it. Recently, my utec fried on me, the dang lifter screws broke and the motherboard was rubbing on the stock ECU, started getting fuel cuts and the car shut off and didnt crank again. Pulled up the floor and panel and it was under there loose as crap. noticed it was all scratched on the MB. Well, to the point. I unplugged the thing and plugged my stock back in and ran it up to my shop. I needed the car for the weekend but couldnt do it. With my injectors (and other stuff) it ran too rich to drive. Dangerous enough to burn rings. So i would keep the utec if I were you.

    I got 237whp and 236wtq on a mustang dyno(I think). 230/lb/ft of tq come on at 2800rpm. That is great, espically for a four clyinder. My emgine set-up is as follows:

    * XPT stage 2 map, tuned and tweaked by me. ( check that opensource.com site and you'll see "Zack's" (my) dyno plot)
    *Cat-less TBE-apex-i N1 CB
    * Cat-less TXS cast-iron up-pipe
    *OEM STi I/C with PnP inlets and "elbows"
    * Samco I/C hoses
    *Silincer delete with Perrin foam filter and Perrin "AftaMAF" hose
    * Walbro 255lph FP
    * PnP TB
    * Stock 2.0l, turbo, internals, cams, ect,ect,

    That is what it should take to get to 240/240 or even 250/250 depending on tune. This dyno graph was done on the same dyno that had about 20 other Cobb stg2 cars run on, on the same day. The cobb cars only put down 219/225 on the highest one I remember. <------stage2 2.0L And an 07 STI(stock) put down 258whp

    Edit: now that I found the dyno graph, I see that it was a dyno jet. That is not the highest reading dyno, but not lowest. But it is what it is in comparison too. And the reading were consistant for all cars. So that's all that matters, since all dyno read differently. I never put too much stock into dyno #'s. Only to see how a car responds to mods and how consistant it is.
