    Question about stock turbo

    Ok i was reading around and heard people porting turbos. Now my question is my cars tore apart right now awaiting a new tranny would porting the stock turbo do any good..Is it gonna be worth it or would it be a waste? THnaks

    it will decrease spool up time & allow for more potential topend w/ tuning.....

    a ported stock turbo from deadbolt with proper tuning will nearly reach the potential of the VF30/34 (nearly = within 20whp-25whp peak) but with quicker spool up....the 30/34 will allow for more torque & hp across the entire powerband....

    ok cool cause i dont plan on upgradeing the turbo anytime soon due to the tranny killing my wallet so i guess ill get the turbo ported and with the uppip downpipe and exhaust and AP i should see some nice gains....the main reason i wanna do this is there only 4 wrx around where i live and we all run about the same so im wanting to do a little something to make me a little faster. And who would be able to port a turbo?

    where is around here? it'll cost ~$15 to ship it to Jerry...then $2.99 to ship it back.....

    I had my VF30 P&P & Ceramic coated by him.....My 20G I'm currently running he built....P&P'd & Ceramic coated....Top notch work & excellent customer service....
