Exact Stereo Specs...

I was just wondering if some of you could put together a list of speakers/amp (for sub)/sub/caps, etc. I'd like to know of some exact components that people have installed in there wrx with relative ease. My budget for the four new speakers, sub/box, amp and any other electronics (besides head unit) is about $800 give or take. I plan on purchasing almost all of this online and then having paying a shop to do the install so any info you guys can give (exact models, links) would be awesome. Thank you very much in advance!

what kind of sound are you looking for? What type of music do you listen to? Is installation included in the $800 or seperate?

u could always go with a bazooka tube subwoofer, its got a decent sound, and it eliminates the need for an enclosure. the same thing goes for the infinity basslink subs, which are self powered . speakers you can go with infinitys or alpines, theyre both pretty decent and cost effective. you could get the basslink, and 2 sets of speakers for around 600 bucks, and those speakers will be pretty decent speakers and the bass will be pretty good if you place it in one of the back corners of your trunk, as thats usually the best spot for acoustics in a car. ummmmmmm, you could always get an aftermarket headunit off of ebay that'll give you better output to your unamped speakers, and a clearer signal to a sub. i'd recommend a pioneer or pioneer premiere, but alpine, kenwood, and panasonic make some good pieces too. if you install it yourself you could get an aftermarket headunit and still have enough dough for the wiring. if you bring it to an installer you might still be able to get the headunit. thats all i really have to say
