dvd in dash unit??????????

Hi RedBean and Pioneer 6500 owners

are you having problems reading MP3 files. Mine seems to run for a while and then for no reason, I get an "ERROR" msg. I tried 2 seperate cds and same result. I am also having problems reading CD_RWs (invalid disk) even though I finalized the disk....using NERO 6.0 to make the CDs

is my unit bad?

Looks like yours is bad. All my mp3 CDs work fine. I have never tried a CD-RW, though. I have tried DVD-V, DVD-A, MP3 CD-Rs, and Video-CDs and all of them worked. I have not tried DVD-R/RW, CD-RW, or a regular CD yet. I used Nero 6 and I have had disk work even when they are not finalized.

I got the unit replaced and now plays CD-RWs and no more errors
