    hey, nice set up.

Are you running into any cooling problems for the amp? Being that you mounted it flushed to the raised floor. Are you using any fans?
In my old car I planned to make a false floor box set up like yours, but wanted to use the whole space in the bottom, to get enough air space for two subs. Do you have enough air space for the sub, with the spare tire in there? How does it sound?
And by the way, where did you use the dynamat?

Anyone mounted a BassLink in their trunk? My plans for mounting behind the rear passenger wheelwell didn't work. I haven't mounted it yet, but am wondering where everyone else is putting theirs.

Thanks...as far as cooling problems, the only problems I've seen occur if the top vents are blocked, but I honestly can't say for sure. The bottom of the sub box is dynamatted...

Again...I don't know too much about the set up, so please post any questions about it here so Jeff can answer:

Cool. so does it knock hard? Is it boomy or more acoustic sounding? (Actually how does it sound? should be my question)

It hits pretty damn hard for a 10" and it sounds VERY clean. The only rattle I get is from the rear deck lid by the 3rd brake light, which most everyone else has problems with. It doesn't have the heart-thumping deepness of a 12", but the cleanliness of the sound more than makes up for that.

Armin, do you have to be careful about playing it loud for long periods of time? I would think that the sub-woofers voice coils would get pretty hot, since it doesn't look like there's much room for them to cool. But then again, I'm not real familiar with Rainbow's design for the voice coils.

I mean you might not notice it until the sub is dead. I wouldn't worry too much. If Rainbow subs are anything like their components, it should be fine.
