    Stereo questions

Ok, I'm trying to get everything together to upgrade my stereo system. I've looked at the door spacers, I have a head unit(not installed yet) I have a DIN adapter... etc etc

Now my question is, will any component system work? I'm concearned with the little speaker, tweeter? whatever. I want to get the infiniti components, but I wanted to make sure that the little speaker is a good fit.

Also, is there a way to maintain the use of the passenger subwoofing but warmer? I know it doesn't do much anyhow, except massage the passengers rear end.

Last question, are there any wiring concearns when it comes to the installation of the head unit? I know that looking at the wiring harness from Pioneer there is an illumination wire and a display wire... I know this is to dim the display when the lights are turned on at night... which do I use? where do I tap it to? Also will a more powerfull head unit and speaker be ok with the stock speakerwires?

Hey, I'm hoping someone will reply to this post, even though this forum is almost a year old.
Anyways....what is the difference between woofers and midrange speakers?
I have a good sub in my car, so would it be better for me to get midrange speakers alogn w/tweeters, instead of woofers and tweeters?

Err... woofers + tweeters won't have any midrange. You'll have high and low.

The standard setup is mids + tweets in the front, a woofer (or two, ahem) in the back. If it's down to two of those, tweet + mid is the only way to go. You can probably find some speakers with decent bass response.

well...i mean like...some component systems come wiht woofers and tweeters, and the woofers will have response from liek 500-8khz or something....and some have mids that dont have quite as low response.
Like in 3-way systems, there are woofers, mids, and tweets. I'm not talking about a subwoofer, im talkin about the 6.5" woofer that comes in the 3-way system.

    er...do you mean somethign like....
mids and tweets in the front doors, and then lower response speakers on the rear doors? I already have a sub in me trunk.
