    Subaru CD-changer and CD-Rs

Anyone else have difficulty with playing CD-Rs in your factory CD changer? Mine can play the CD-Rs, but in general there is at least one frustrating skip per CD. I have tried various brands of CD-Rs: Memorex, Sony, TDK, Phillips, and I believe I've encountered errors in all of them. The new 'music/audio/orange book II compliant' CDs seem to work much better than regular CD-Rs (but still they have a skip or two). I don't think its the CDR disc itself that's at fault, it plays well in my home and in my other car. Only the Subie's cd-changer seems very picky. If CD-Rs work fine in your car, please let me know what brand of CD-Rs you use and what kind of CD writer you have. Thanks!

    No problems here either.

You might want to verify the cd's you're buring can be played in different cd players other than a computer's.

I never have any skipping AT ALL with CD-Rs or regular CDs. It sounds to me like your CD player is messed up. Warranty time.

I have many CD-Rs as well (varying brands) and haven't noticed an issue on any of them...
