FYI - there aren't any RCA jacks on the '07 stock either. I did get it hooked up to an 8 inch bazooka powered sub. The tech at a stereo shop basically tapped into a speaker wire which then converted to RCA plugs. It sounds okay. Just enough bump in the trunk to satisfy me without waking up the neighborhood. The downside is that I have to keep adjusting the fader and bass levels depending on the music and whether or not it's a radio, cd, or ipod.
I am sure it would sound better w/ a better headunit. After the subwoofer installation, before I even left the store, I wanted to get the better headunit, bigger sub, better door speakers. I told myself to get out of there before it got out of hand. Still thinking it about though.
well thats a bummer. i will probably just tap into the existing speaker wires, i dunno well see. if it sucks well then i guess thats just an excuse for a new head unit.
How does the 06 factory sub and amp installed under the drivers seat interface with the factory 6 disc changer than?
I have no idea but I have read from some of the posts that it doesn't sound great.
just go to a best buy tell them you have aamp and they will get u the adapter, it cost me like $15
