anyone have the OEM subwoofer 04 WRX

im lookin to buy the OEM subwoofer that mounts under the seat. wondering if anyone had it and if it was any good...im not lookin to have my car rattle like it did when i had a 12 inch woofer in the trunk...kept gettin broken into..PITA....just lookin too see if its just good enuff...any one?

I have it in my 02. If they haven't upgraded it since then I would not recommend it. For the price it doesn't do justice. It's not deep at all and buzzes when you try to play music at a high level with good base. Could just be mine though, so wait for more input.

I installed a factory subwoofer after I bought the car.

I'm happy with it... although I wouldn't expect to go pumping out 50Cent tunes at full volume all the time... It's not meant for that.

But...... it is considerably better than stock. It is adjustable to reduce noise, so the buzzing can be avoided.

It's light, cheap, hideable, and better than stock.... I'd say its a good investment.

Make sure if you buy one... you get the factory subwoofer wiring harness with it. The sub is useless without it.

meh, their ok. Just turn the gain on the sub up a bit and be happy.
