    hey everyone just got my put in my system just wanted to post a few pics













    HU- kenwood ddx 7017 w/ ipod adapter
    Amp- 500/1
    Sub- Jl w6
    door spear- i bought the polk momos but they were so big i couldnt fit the speakers in. so im going to buy different ones soon.

    thats the jl audio w6 subwoofer right? does it push 1000watts constantly or no? just lookin to get one and wanted to know if it banged...

    no the sub you are thinking of is the W7 i have the W6 i think mine pushes 400 or 500 rms

    JL is top quality if you are looking for clean sound. If you are looking for something to just take a lot of power and thump hard you might not like JLs.

    continuous power handling for the 13w7 is 1000 watts. The 12w7 is 750 watts.

    nice system. you should hard wire that radar detector so you dont have a wire hanging over your monitor. also im looking into that exact same amp and sub setup. how does it sound? rattle problems? does the bass come out hard from the trunk?

    I actually just finised my system to.. and its very similar to yours.
    Jl 12 W6, 500W JL amp, 6.5 components MB quarts up front, and 4 coxial MB quarts in the back, with a 250w mtx amp powering them (left over from a previous car). And an alpine headunit, not sure on the model number. And that **** hits hard and sounds awesome. I have an 06, and the trunk rattles alittle but enough that i'm considering dynomat... but inside you can't hear the rattle of the trunk but my rearview mirror shakes and i hear that

    but we'll see if i can fix that..
