retain XM radio?

    Hello all,

I am getting my WRX soon and am starting to order some stereo parts as I will be replacing them day one after hearing the audio on a lot car at my local dealership.

I will be ordering this HU: AVH-4000NEX - NEW! - 2-DIN Flagship Multimedia DVD Receiver with 7" WVGA Touchscreen Display | Pioneer Electronics USA

and already have an amp and subs. I am wondering however, how is the stock HU satelite radio implemented? I would like to retain this feature without buying the aftermarket receiver is possible. does the stock receiver plug into aftermarket radios, or will I have to purchase the add-on receiver to retain XM radio after replacing the HU? Thanks in advance!

I'm sure the antenna can be reused. No personal experience though.
