Kicker 11HS8 - Compact powered sub

Anyone have experience with this unit? I'm wanting to find a powered sub to put under the front passenger seat and this seems to be the best I could find. If you've had experience with it or another that would fit in that space please let me know.

After reading more reviews it sounds like this is a good unit for its class, but I don't think it'll hit low enough frequencies for me to be pleased with it. So I will be finding an 8" or 10" to put in the trunk.

I looked into those too, but all of the Kicker reviewers said they switched from the sound ordnance because it was terrible.

I miss my system .. I need that bass but I also need my trunk . I was thinking of an 8" sub . I need it mounted on the side n not in the middle of my trunk

Thats a lot for a low profile sub (kicker). Although any sub should be better then none at all. If you are going to go with a lowprofile get a cheaper one. I still need to install one on my wrx but I need to fab up a speaker enclosure to fit in the corner of my trunk.

That would look good in my truck if it was able to fit in the corner n not in the center
