    New Pioneer radio

So I decided to go with the new 2013 model pioneer radio AVH-2500BT. Although it doesn't hook up the the stock usb, aux, or bt mic it is still a great radio. The colors of the buttons are super adjustable so I was able to match the stock colors. Here are some pic. Click image for larger version.

Planning on doing a Pioneer build also.
I have done quite a bit of research in prep for it. Actually I already have all the components except.. the car. Waiting for it to arrive to the dealership.

I ended up going for the Pioneer AVH-X5500BHS.

Here are a few more options you have including adding in the OEM usb and aux:

    -AUX/USB adapter from SVXdc
Parts Needed To Install Aftermarket Head Unit In Subaru Impreza/WRX/STI/Forester/Crosstrek
You can order directly by emailing SVXdc (info on site)

-Replacement Bezel for a 2din head unit (removes the gap around your HU)
After all said and done i ended up paying $78.09 for this and shipping
    avoJDM Parts Online

Did you retain the searing wheel controls?
There are options for that also:
Axxess ASWC-1 Steering Wheel Interfac Module
