12 inch Sub in 2012 Hatch

Has anyone accomplished this feat? I have my setup from my 2011 Sedan, and I still want to retain my space. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The best way to retain space is with the AI sub enclosure. It actually doesn't take up any useful space in the trunk. Unfortunately the biggest size they make is a 10".

Not sure if it fits in the wrx hatchback, it only says it doesn't fit in the sport wagon..

I had a JL audio stealthbox in my firebird many years ago, and it was great!

You could custom fabricate one for the opposite side.. two 10" subs are better than one 12"! Just make sure they are phased correctly otherwise you won't hear anything because they can cancel each other out!

I have a 8' in mine, comes enclosed.
My dad got the exact same setup as me for his Prius after hearing mine, but he upgrade to a '15 and I seriously can't tell the difference.

How's your woodworking and/or fiberglass skills? A custom box might be your best/only solution if your set on using the sub you already have.

There is a local shop here. I going to see how much they will charge. I will sell the sub if its box is too pricey
