blue tooth doesnt work with new head unit

i just installed a pioneer avp2400bt when i sync my blue tooth i can get my music off my phone which is a samsung galaxy III but i can not make or receive any calls with it. I synced an i phone to it and everything worked perfect. has anyone else had this problem and is there anything i can do to fix it besides a different phone?

You may want to check the manual. It should offer some insight about which fully are fully compatible and which aren't. Since apple has grown so much, many of the manufactors are giving the iPhone fully compatiblity to things.

I would say if your music is working and the phone calls aren't then it's an issue with the phone to head unit error; more specifically the phone isn't fully compatible.
