What size speakers are in 2012 front and rear doors?

Exactly what title says. Want to put some focal speakers in car to start. Need door speaker sizes front and rear

Judging by the speaker cover, i'll take a wild guess and say 6.5". I'd be surprised if it 5 1/4.

Unless you sit in your rear seat often, I would skip out on the rear speakers, and focus your attention up front instead.

I have a set of Genesis 2-ways as well as a set of the newer Soundstream 3-ways that are just waiting on me to make a few other decisions before I get them in there. Mainly, I can't decide on a single DIN or a Double DIN HU and I can't make up my mind on a processor. I'm thinking I will either give the Mosconi 6to8 a try or the Audison BitOne.

But to answer the OP's question, the door speakers are 6.5, and you will need some spacers to make any halfway normal 6.5 fit because of our limited door depth. You also need to watch the outer diameter because of that curve on the door card where the bottle of water goes. I was told a HAT L6 would fit by one person then told to forget it by another person, all because of that curve in the plastic.

By the time is all said and done, I may end up with a spare set of door cards from eBay so I can cut them up and remold to my liking. I already have spare pillars just waiting for me to decide on if I am going to run the 2-ways or 3-ways first, lol.

OP for spacers you may want to try PVC Speaker Adapters - CNC Machined - In Stock or Custom Made OR Speaker Mounting Brackets Fits select 1999-up vehicles (for 5-1/4", 6-1/2", or 6-3/4" speakers) at Crutchfield.com

I have an aversion to auto-tune. Never liked it, listened to a couple of MS-8 tuned vehicles, and still don't like it.
