Okay ,so looks like I'll have a lot more time to choose an amp.The AI enclosure is on back order & they told me that I shouldn't expect it for at least 2-3 weeks, maybe more.

Yeah, they really should start making these popular models in mass quantities, but it sounds like they just make them to order and keep an almost continual backlog. It is a really nice piece, though.
okay,so I got the JL 10W3v3.
I have also decided to get the JBL MS-8.It turned out to be cheaper than a new head unit & I get to keep all the OEM HU's features.
Still haven't decided on an amp,but I'm now interested in the Massive NX5.

Like exhaust suggestions, this is subjective. Your best bet is to burn a disc of a mix of music you'd play to a music store and test everything they have in stock.Originally Posted by rage-wrx
Focus only on component sets. I have the Alpine Type-X, and I'm pretty happy.

Yeah,I'm looking only at component sets.
I went down to the local best buy.The range of choices is less than impressive.

Best Buy isn't going to cut it. There's got to be a store that specializes in car audio in your area you can go to...Originally Posted by rage-wrx

1.Massive Audio RK6 component speakers up front
2.Massive Audio NX5 amp
3..JL 10w3v3 sub in Audio Integrations enclosure
4.JBl MS-8 sound processor.

Can anyone please tell me how much speaker wire I will need for the install?
I got this kit Amazon.com: KnuKonceptz KCA Complete 4 Gauge Amp Installation Kit: Automotive and it comes with 10 Feet BLUE Klear Kable OFC 16 Gauge Speaker Wire. Will that be enough?

You should be fine with that amount of wire. You may need more if you are running the front speakers off of the amp too (I'm sure you said if you are or not, but I don't feel like reading lol) but you can get 10g wire almost anywhere. Other than that, you'll be fine.

I used more than 50ft of 16 gauge wire running all new wire from the amp under the drivers seat to the 4 doors. I have a crossover in each door though, so theres a little extra wire in there.

That's going to sound awesome!
I think I ended up needing 20 feet of 16g speaker wire from the drivers seat to the four front speakers, and then another 8ft of 12g for the sub. Keep in mind you'll need to wire the two front woofers and two front tweeters separately to fully utilize the MS-8's ability to locate each one, spatially (aka: time alignment)
