Which speakers fit?
Thank you.

I put the dB651's in front doors, using OEM spacer...very easy install. Haven't got around to doing the rear doors yet but I suspect you can re-use spacers in rear too
I have made a lot of spacer rings for people wanting to mount the Polk db6501 components or db651 coaxials in the doors. The 3/4" adapter/spacer will work for either speaker and has more than enough room to fit behind the door panel without extended door pins. You just screw the adapter to the door, screw the speaker to the adapter, and close it up.
Some people don't want to disassemble the stock speakers (though it is not too difficult) and want the flexibility of the deeper mounting depth that a 3/4" spacer will allow.
How much better do they sound?
Both bass and terbble are slightly more clear. Midrange slightly less muddy.
Can get louder than stock without distortion.
Even with the stock head unit?
Yes, even with the stock HU.
