I'm looking into improving my 2011 WRX's audio and don't really feel like going aftermarket with the head unit. I stumbled across this head unit, does anyone have any experience with it?

Cheap indeed, that's why it caught my attention. But then I think, you get what you pay for. Just wanted to see if anyone has heard anything about these.

Hmmm I didn't notice that it's from China. Yea it doesn't look too promising. Was hoping it was legit.

Hmmm, this one has a cleaner look. I just sent an inquiry on a sample price as well as a group buy price, maybe 20 or so pieces.

Interesting options, but I wouldn't expect good sound quality out of either of them. If you want good sound you really need a quality aftermarket head unit.. one that has a brand name.
Believe me, I am a sound quality fiend, and I would be shocked if the pre-amp outputs didn't provide a good quality sound. Now, the internal amp might be garbage but they all are. If you expect sound quality out of a head units internal amp, your expectations aren't very high.
