    Finally ditched the trapezoid subwoofer special and put the Audio Integrations box in. Bumped internal volume up from just under a half cu ft to 0.65 and think this sub is a little happier there. Also wired the two 4 ohm voice coils in parallel rather than series (NX5 is 400w@2ohms, versus 200w@4ohms so 100w@8ohms?) and seem to have a ton more headroom!

    Enclosure was a little pricey (by my standards) at $329
    SIH1008 08-2011 Subaru WRX / STI Hatch 10 Inch Perfect Fit

    The sub is a Diamond Audio D110D4.2
    $49 on ebay

    I can't believe the output from this one little sub. Better than the pair of 12's I had back in my High School days in the early 90's!

    Thanks for the info.I was looking on NASIOC.It might be a bit too late for you but Audio Integrations is a vendor there & they are offering a discount Perfect Fit Subwoofer Enclosures Subaru Lineup! - NASIOC

    Still a bit too much for me as of now.But I've included it in my future plans for the car.

    $280?!!! I would have saved $50!! It is a good value at $329 but at $280, it is an absolute steal for the quality of this enclosure! I wish I had found that thread on NASIOC!
