    Head unit fit question

I have a 2006 WRX, I am looking at getting one of the new Pinoeer DVD head units, I have been on several sights and they keep saying that it doesn't fit my car. I swear I have seen pictures of them in WRX's before. So are these web sites full of it or is there modification needed? They say its a 1 DIN?? Just doesnt seem right.

The best site I know of for fitment is crutchfield.com

I've used them several times, and they have always been correct about what they say will fit.

Crutchfield is usually right about what WILL fit, but in my experience they are rarely right about what won't fit. According to them every speaker I have in my car doesn't fit.

Anyways, the OEM Subaru radio is double DIN, so you will probably want a pocket or something to fill up the other space.
