Pioneer AVH Head unit 7" LCD touchscreen

I was wondering if anyone ever got a screen head-unit or in-dash receiver for their wrx 2011. I really want one I was thinking the new pioneer AVH P52000BT.

Is the 2010 wrx the same size for the console and everything? The pioneer says it fits the 2010 wrx so i assume it fits the 2011?

Has anyone every used one and has pictures??

They're same size, you'll need an install kit (one for the 10 should work fine) .. I have pics of avic F710bt install in my 10.. can post if you like.

Here's where I put the mic for the bluetooth.. now, it kept falling off the textured A pillar trim so I actually ended up sticking it directly to the top of the windshield glass with 3m tape. Its still tucked up into that corner though. I find it works best in that location.

mango, does your rex have steeringwheel audio controls? if so, did you have to get an adapter for the controls to still work?

Noo.. got me a base model.. no steering wheel controls for me .. though I hear they aren't hard to integrate with pioneer's adapter and the factory steering wheel parts. Dunno I've been thinking about it but again still not sure if I'm going to upgrade the head unit or not.

Pretty sure the screen size on mine is 6.5" .. but dont quote me on that I could be off. I bought it a few years ago. The wrx is its second home.

Its the AVH-P4200DVD. I like it a lot. Works good.

4200 nav capable? .. or is it just a multimedia unit? ...

I like how it looks, but really prefer the integrated nav.

navi is not integrated, but can be added by of course buying the extra whatever u need stuff from pioneer.
