Best way to hear Pandora in car?

Just ordered an Android phone with "unlimited" downloads. Pandora offers a free app for Android phones. Is it possible to connect the phone to my car stereo?

Here's my 'Pioneer DEHP-760MP' head unit's display is flaky, so I'm not appose to changing it out.

I've got a 'Harman Kardon Drive+Play' (ver1) to play music from my iPod Nano. It's plugged in to the optional Pioneer Aux In.

    Thanks for the link!

I did a search for that HU and found this blog post on Pandora's website.

Looks like the three HU's available are iPhone/iPad only.

I may be stuck using Aux in with my new Android (I'm locked in to the Verizon).

I have a droid. I'd say go with slacker honestly - seems to run better on the phone for some reason. To each their own.

I'd get a head unit with bluetooth capability. Your phone will sync right up to it and you can use it to output audio I believe. I have the car cradle for mine, and its flawless. It sits at eye level and is quite sturdy. It's actually easier to see than my head unit. Nav system is great too. The phone recognizes when it is snapped into it via a small magnetic sensor in the phone and comes up with a car interface with big buttons. An app turns my GPS and bluetooth on, and wifi off. I have a car charger and cigarette lighter for it straight under the cradle mounting. Honestly, best money ever spent.

Just look for any way to connect your phone audio in. Most head units have an aux in. Just get a double sided head phone cord, plug one into the phone and one into the head unit. Control it from the phone. Get a car charger in my opinion, chews up battery quick.

Enjoy the phone, it's a slick operating system =).

I have nothing against normal pandora. For some reason though, pandora does not stream as well over 3g to me. It comes in with slight crackles here and there, and an annoying ring in the high frequencies sometimes.

I do like slacker better overall. I like just hitting the popular music stations and letting it go. Makes my day better.

I'll take a picture of the car mount when I get a chance for you. I'm really impressed with it in every regard.

I've never had a problem with Pandora's audio quality though my headphones/computer at work I'm much more picky when in car.

I'm looking forward to seeing your mounting solution.

This is how it is mounted in my astro van. Given the fact the seat has to be 6' off the road to see easily over the dash, it actually doesn't block my view much at all. It is a great spot to allow easy viewing without blocking anything. The cigarette lighter I plug it into is right to the left of my coffee mug just off the bottom of the picture.

I'd take one with the phone in it, but I realized it was difficult to use my phone camera to take a picture of the mounted phone.

Just the normal mount you can buy from verizon. Very pleased.
