    Pioneer 4200DVD

Amazon.com: Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD In-Dash Double-DIN DVD Multimedia AV Receiver: Electronics

This is what I'm going to get. It'll cost about 600 with bluetooth and ipod add on plus shipping, but will give you a full screen double din setup with the ability to add in navigation later if you really want it, or you could swap out the bluetooth module for the navigation and still be about the same price.

The main reason for this deck for me is that it will play divx video from sdcard or usb.

You can't ask a question like that and expect any kind of worthwhile recommendations.

What is your budget? I can recommend you a $2K H/U which has every bell and whistle, but that may be out of your price range. Give us a ballpark to work with.

What are your current car audio modifications and what else is on the horizon? If you're only looking to replace the OEM H/U and keep the OEM speakers and such, then you may not want to spend that much on the H/U.

What features are you looking for? Do you want something with a lot of storage to load MP3s on so you don't have to carry around an iPod, Zune, etc.? Do you want something that has built-in navigation? Do you want something that has Bluetooth capabilities? Things like that ...

With that said, I almost bought one of the Kenwood DNX-7140s recently ($720 off MSRP).

i have a pioneer avic-z110bt and i like it. has some quirks but overall great.

    screen real estate...great.

gps is great. audio playback and formats great. hd radio, great.

voice recognition...not so great...still working with it...might be my mic location that is the problem.

    was $1200 ish.....

If you go with a DIN and pocket you open up a world of choices.

There's a avic F700bt in my dash.. love it.

I recommend a pioneer that will fit your price range and needed features. Of all the brands I've owned I have had the least amount of issues with Pioneer.
