I got a Sony 10" in a box and i plan on selling it. If it doesn't go i might just toss it in the trunk since its small and compact. My question is will this hook up to my stock head unit once i get an amp for it? or do i have to go after market.

I believe it's called a line level converter or something like that. It's not the best option, but if you're wanting to run an amp off of your stock HU then it's about your only option.
