Got the sub and bluetooth installed last night. It took about 2 hours start to finish, so that's not too bad I suppose.
The instructions come with the devices and I just followed them. It was sort of like adult Legos as there are no words, just pictures. Follow the pictures and it's easy to do.
The only "trick" I suppose is knowing that the boot on the E-Brake handle just pulls off. It's a platic clip thing--actually, almost everything is. It's like and old Snap-Tite model. Anyone remember those?
If you intend to do Bluetooth and the sub, do both at the same time as it's not any extra work really.
I did put the bluetooth on the pillar instead of the steering column. I nestled right in there since the panel under the steering wheel was already removed. I just ran the wire between the trim and the rubber strip and it's in a great location.
I forgot to take pictures, I'll see if I can post those later.
BTW, the sub sounds great. Had they just put those in all the cars, I'd be few people would ***** about the sound. I did have to turn the gain up all the way and then customize the EQ, but it sounds fine to me--but then I'm old now.
