2009 Bluetooth for Nav

Looking to install the bluetooth mic for the factory nav radio. The parts info picture shows a small mike on the steering column, however there appears to be a small grill to the left of the A/C controls that appears to be a location for the microphone. Is this a later model change? Would like to avoid having the mic taped to the steering column. Any help appreciated!

Im pretty sure that grille is for the climate control temprature sensor.

Binjoau is correct...it's the vent for the climate control sensor. Maybe mount it to the dash/gauge cluster right behind the wheel?
