Aux inputs

So whats your thoughts on creating an aux input for an mp3 player on the OEM stereo...

A wired FM modulator OR CD based Aux input from http://www.jazzyengineering.com/ ?

Would one be clearer than the other?
Right now I'm running one of those stupid tape adapters from the tape deck.

I've got that jazzy engineering cd based aux in kit in my rex. Lossless music on my ipod comes out my speakers in cd quality sound. I like.

I never even bothered with the tape converters or fm modulators because I knew I would just be frustrated with unlistenable quality.

I've got the Jazzy iPod pro kit in my 05. I love it. Easy install, great directions, great sound. Just a stand-out product.

I've had the crappy FM transmitters, and I had a tape adapter for a little over a year in a previous car. Nothing I have seen or heard compares to the Jazzy kit.

i just installed an fm modulator I got from crutchfield. so far it has worked great! I couldn't bring myself to spend ~90 bucks in the jazzy one and then tear apart my radio. This was 30 bucks and it sounds pretty good. I still have all the stock speakers in my car and the sound quality is very good. Maybe if you have upgraded speakers and amps, the sound quality might not be the best, but for me, and the price, it works great.

If you want this route, I have a coupon or something somewhere I could send you.

Does anyone know if this kit works in a 2007 WRX TR? I sent Jazzy Engineering a question and am waiting on a response.

I did a similar mod which requires the use of a blank CD to the factory headunit in my GTO and it works great.
