Hooking up an Amp to factory HU??

I just got my 03 wrx. It came with the factory 6disc changer dd headunit. Im used to working with an aftermarket headunit so I wasnt sure how this would work. Do these come with outputs to hook up an amplifier so I can run a subwoofer?

Sorry this may be a noob question but I've never worked with a stock hu before. Thanks!

You need a line level adapter. This splices into your rear speaker wires and gives and RCA output for your amp. I have one FS if interested. PM me. $20 shipped.

Some amps already have a line level in. Its just a little four wire harness that plugs into the amp, just tap them into the rear speaker lines, and you dont need the rca's

shhhh. I'm trying to get rid of this. lol

But he's right, some amps do have this built in. Do you have a model number or anything onthe amp you have to check to see if it does or not?
