New to the Subaru/Detailing scene!

Hello! I just purchased a 2005 STi a few days ago and I'm totally digging it. I'm still nervous because my last vehicle was a Toyota Tacoma and it was slow as hell, so getting used to a stick and the power is a bit stressful. My first car was a stick, but that was like 7 years ago and it was a Honda Civic! Anyway, here are some pics of my car!

Today, I went to Walmart and bought a bunch of products and cleaning towels. I got 3 large microfiber towels, 25 smaller microfiber detailing towels (lol, I think I got too many), a California jelly blade, a new wheel brush (it sort of sucks; the bristles aren't rigid enough to scrape off the brake dust), and the Absorber (I haven't got to try this out yet).

As for the products, I bought Armor All Extreme Tire Shine Gel (in the orange bottle w/ the applicator), Stoner's Invisible Glass (holy crap this stuff owns!), and a small bottle of Febreze. I didn't buy Simple Green and now I'm kicking myself because two of my wheels still have brake dust on them. Anyway, I'm going to grab a bottle of that for the next scheduled car wash.

Since I'm still worried that we might get another snow in Denver, I'm hesitant to attach the hose at my house for fear of it freezing again and bursting, so I took it to a self-serve wash. I took up the bay for like 2 1/2 hours washing and cleaning the car. Overall it went okay, but I clearly need to clay the car (I guess) and maybe wax it? I'm still a total newb when it comes to detailing. Any tips would be great!
