Goes to show the consumer isn't always right, especially when it comes to reviewing sh!t on a magazine. I wonder what demographic voted on these polls; (seniors, teens, or mom & dad minivan scrubbers). Personally I've always stayed away from black magic's products. When has it ever been good to use cheap products on anything?

My dad also bought this wax based on the ratings in Consumer Reports. As others have mentioned, the CR review was right on.

It went on smoothly and has a pleasant scent. It took a little more effort to buff out, but it was easy to remove from any black plastic/rubber trim. Although streaking was more than usual, the shine was amazing!

Three months of parking outside in the sun and some rain, and the paint still shines and feels like there is still wax on it.

    Highly recommended.

..... Who the hell is writing these reviews? Sounds like a bunch of PR crap.

I used teh Black Magic wax on my car a few weeks ago and it worked very well. The only complaint I had was the color - but only because my car is white.

thats a terrible review, they didnt test like products, they compared machine waxes, hand waxes, carnuba waxes, sealants/glazes, polishes, and swirl removers......you cant compare any of them, its like testing ten cars and none of them are in the same class, terrible article........if your serious go to a car detailing site i like detailcity.org
    that article is really bad
