Most likely surface scrathces from rubbing a little too hard. Try "Mothers Scratch Remover" it should take it right out. I have used it with fantastic results.

Had an incident the other day while scrubbing some bugs off the front of my hood... after washing everything away I noticed a couple spots were abnormally dull and scuffed looking... I think I might've scrubbed too hard![]()
Did I ruin the clear coat or just add a bunch of surface swirls/scratches?
I'll break out the supplies this weekend and see if I can't polish it up a little...maybe take care of the problem
Any insight is great

2008 Evo X GSR. Custom tuned, Works panel filter, Intercooler pipe upgrade, TBE.
+1, either that or Meg's Scratch-X and you should be fine.Originally Posted by dcpatters
