    Glue on roof?

I just purchased a new 2015 STI and there appears to be a large rectangle of which appears to be some sort of adhesive, maybe from plastic as its brand new? Any advice on how to safely remove this?

I'm sure there's a better method than this, but mine came off with a little extra effort when I clayed my car.

Clay bar, goo gone, penetrating oil/lube and some elbow grease
I'd vote with the clay bar thougj as it is the safest

I had a small spot of adhesive on my 2014, I called the dealership and brought it back, and they cleaned it off and polished up the car for me.

You have a brand new car, just call the dealership about it.
