I'd get a toothbrush and a mf towel and just wipe it down, that way the engine has less risk of parts getting wet that might be an issue. The best thing to do is keep the hood up and just let it dry for a few hours. You could also get a box fan and let it blow on it for a few hours as well. No problems.
    awesome ideas! well seeing as my car is my family, im liking the toothbrush idea. So degrease using a brush/mf towel...and no rinse?
