Cleaned the engine bay this weekend.....

Okay, this could have taken all day, so I'll except any **** you want to blow me about the end results. After about 40 mins I was honestly bored with it.

    What I used:
    Heavy duty industrial grade degreaser
    Hose water
    Heavy duty scrubber pad
    General Cleaner
    Wash rag

I would have to remove things to really get a good cleaning on it, but the intake manifold looks 100x better now. It was a VERY dark gray before I started, now it looks like it's metal  The before pictures would have been better if the sun would have been behind the clouds. I'm satisfied with the results for 40 mins worth of work.

    After:

Regular cleanings (2-4 months) will maintain the look.

Every 2 - 4 months is all it takes.

Plastic bag over the alternator and when using the hose try and avoid the electronics... when done I start the car and let it run till the temp needle is as normal... this will evaporate most of the water you cant get to dry up by cloth...
