Ordered HKS downpipe ($175 shipped) Friday August 2nd about 9pm CST (7pm PDT). Had billing information that night along with a tracking #. Package arrived right on time after being shipped Monday. Arrived with all necessary gaskets, well packaged. Could not have experienced a smoother transaction from start to finish!
It was a complete 180 from Vivid, who, BTW, emailed me on Friday, nearly two weeks after I ordered and a week after I cancelled to tell me that my credit card was declined. Well, geez, for the first time in my life I was HAPPY that my CC was denied!! [sarcasm] Thanks for checking your email, and staying on top of things, Vivid... [/sarcasm]
i got their polyurethane lip & apron off ebay and i was pretty impressed with the shipping time. im in hawaii and they managed to get the lip to me within a week, and the aprons in the following week (it was shipped separately). i did have to call them twice however to confirm my order. it takes them awefully long to respond to emails... smooth transaction otherwise
Last year I ordered a Cusco sway bar and almost 3 weeks passed by without getting it. I called them up and the guy on the phone was nice and didn't know why it had not gone out. I got it a few days later. Sounds like they need some better organization.
I ordered Cusco camber plates last weekend. I called them on Tuesday as I had heard nothing further from them and they said they were shipping them out that day and they would be with me Thursday. When they didn't arrive, I called to get the Fedex shipping number which they had, but Fedex showed that they had not received the package. Maybe the driver stole them! Gruppe-S say they will send another set.
guys having problems with e-mail check out your spam folders(if you have one or the capability) because a few people on hotmail have had problems with e-mail coming from gruppe-s being flagged as spam.

ya it took them 1 week to ship out my carbon ti exhaust, they still have not given me a tracking # but they said it shipped wednsday, i would say i will prolly never order thier again cause it took so long, they had my money for 5 days in their bank account, at least they could do is ship it out immediatly

Its called "growing pains" people... this is an important stage where they are getting bigger and bigger and they are obviously struggling to be organized.
They have always been great in my transactions with them. But its not the same as when you would place an order and seconds later have a tracking number in your email. Those were the days... just part of the growing pains. Hopefully they can get organized and fix this cuz I would hate to lose a good company.

I think they are really nice guys, and sell their parts at a fair price. I have no problem understanding growing pains, but I hate when I get a load of B.S. I've been selling parts for over 10 years, and can smell B.S. from a mile away. I don't rush people, but I do expect an honest answer, and I do expect to get an "in stock item" within 1 month. I will consider doing business with them again, but they need to straighten out a little, work on their communication. I always give a company two chances. If they burn me twice, I never do business with them again.

Called them this afternoon, again. I actually got a live person. I asked him about not being able to contact them lately and he said they have been short staffed. He also said I should get my part in a day or two. We shall see...
don't expect much from them.. there workers seem not to kno much about anything but picking up the phone..they never call you back and always say.."o it'll be about couple days till....." :confused1
I've ordered from Gruppe-S several times in the past when I had my WRX, and they were great. I ordered again from them today (I called them first, and they answered my questions), and I just got a message from Fed-EX with my shipping information--less than four hours after I ordered. So, they have always been great with my orders, and I couldn't recommend them enough!

thats not a issue for me ... i have them on my contact list. So they don't get blocked.
anyways 3wks and 3 emails later i finally get my shipping confirmation from fed ex. I'm still angry b/c I was on leave from the army two weeks ago and my car is back int he states so now i can't put it on ><

Every time I have dealt with Gruppe-S they have answered the phone, which is the only way I would do business with a vendor. Albeit, they have shipping problems sometimes, as parts that I have ordered have not come in on time, etc, but when they have something in stock and you tell them to put it in a box and send it to you, they are usually okay.
Also....they're in Cali, so shipping takes longer and they don't answer the phones at 9am EST guys....call when they're at work. :tongue:

I havent had any problems as of yet. The VF34 took a while (3 weeks) because they were out of stock, but once in they shipped right away. I just installed the fuel pump so lets hope I didnt get a bad one.
I had 3 orders at Gruppe-S last year. Hundreds and hundreds of $ each time.
I received the 4th last friday. The Helix catted DP was not in the package, nor the gaskets and bolts for the Helix catback :unhappy: but I was charged for that :unhappy: :thumbdown
I ordered and confirmed this order especially the catted DP since october :eek3: It seems Gruppe-S received the Helix catted DP stuff twice since october but that part is still not there for me.
I PM'd them and I'm waiting their reply, hopping not to wait a long time. I'm waiting since october. This turboback still can't be installed...
subablunc - I'm sorry for any type of inconvenience this may have caused. We do sometimes have trouble with international orders due to customs/shipping. The Helix catbacks come to us in sealed boxes which should include the bolts/gaskets. We don't open them up and take anything out.
I ordered from them last friday, I called over the phone I don't like buying stuff on the internet. Some one picked up right away and transfered me to a subaru rep. Then he picked up right away seemed like good service so far. I'll wait to see how long it takes to get here, they said it would ship on monday.
I ordered my downpipe and uppipe from Gruppe-S last summer and it was an excellent transaction. being that I had a good experience with them I chose to order their VF34 package (comes with sti pinks, gaskets + fuel pump) I ordered it last Friday and got my tracking number yesterday. should have it next week. I'm so excited and I just can't hide it. Thanks Gruppe-S
